The patellar support is made of velor and foam and incorporates a silicone pad.

Effects: It produces a compression in the quadriceps tendon just above its insertion in the tuberosity of the tibia minimizing the traction forces in its insertion.

The silicone ball due to contact with the skin produces an anti-slip effect, without the need for excessive overpressure (prevents the fall of the orthosis).

Indications: Osgood-Schlatter disease.
